The mission of FIRST® is to inspire young people to be leaders and innovators in the science and technology field. By engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering, and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.
NEWS: Blackwater Bots Helps out at Alden High School's
Technical Career Day!
Check out the article and video WGRZ Channel 2 News did on this amazing event to expose students to STEM and manufacturing careers with over 40 industry partners, including Alden's own Bulldog Manufacturing. The event was held on May the Fourth, 2023.
The Blackwater Bots put on a robotics demonstrating, showcasing the robot the team built for the 2022-2023 POWER PLAY season for the FIRST Tech Challenge.
